Recursive Backtracker maze generation algorithm implemented in TypeScript.
To save the maze as PNG, right click the canvas and choose Save Image
If your goal is just to get a PNG with a clean looking maze, use the instant option because it draws more precise lines.
This demo uses somewhat optimized rendering during animation stage, by only redrawing the current cell.
This demo was written in 265 lines of TypeScript.
This demo supports both light mode and dark mode, depending on the preffered color scheme of your browser/OS.
